SO I went to see Henry Rollins, of Black Flag, The Rollins band, and now IFC's "The Henry Rollins Show". I saw him about eight years ago do one of his spoken word tours. He was funny then and I could only hope he would be this time. I wasn't let down.
Rollins took us on a trip from a story about the band "the Ruts", to his gallivanting around the world. His stories appeal to me becuase I feel the way he does in many ways. I hope some time to travel and experience things like he does. is travels to the middle east are fascinating and truly inspiring. To be that curious to go to a country that most would find "out of bound" for an American.
If you get a chance to see one of his shows (and are not a republican), go and see this guy. He is a consummate performer that will give you an entertaining evening.
