Check it out here: Chez Geek Season 2
We will be adding all the recipes from the 1 st season of "Chez Geek" our cooking show, but in the mean time I thought I would share some dabbling I do with cooking.
Ingredients
Hope you like and if you have a simple 5 or less ingredient recipe, send it our way and maybe just maybe we will showcase it this season on "Chez Geek".
Well things have been "a flurry" in the small company called Math Club Productions.
First we have been looking for several new people to join our ranks to handle the increasing business side of the company. IF anyone out their wants to help dedicate time to helping us market, find financing or even sponsorship. This would allow the rest of us to get all the shows out in regular schedule.
1337 - Coming quickly on the end of a season that has spanned over a year. We hope to make the next season encompass only one years time frame. We are releasing the trailer to Episode 10, titled BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). This is an especially proud achievement for several reason. First and foremost 10 episodes! The editing, acting production value has increased by leaps and bounds. We have changed cast, had mulitple appearnaces by one person as an extra (Jon Smith). This episode is also special becuase we have two great guys come ina dn act, well not really act they played themselves. Wess and Darren from Hak.5 joined our cast to play. The addition of the Hak.5 crew and with a great story line written by Stevan Daljev (Milosh Drugoravich), has made this one of the best episodes to edit for me. Stay tuned we plan a DVD release and even a live panel discussion with full cast and crew.
Starbuskj - Is almost finished filming 5. We have faced the demons of getting 1337 finsihed and will focus on Starbuskj for the next few months. Stevan and JR are itching to get themselves back into the lovable characters.
High Maintenance - hit a few snags but is progressing marvelously. This show promises to be some of the funniest shit out on the web. Written by Trae Favaro (Alvin Foster -1337), and Stevan Daljev (Milosh Drugoravich-1337, yago/Milev-Starbuskj, Lead Cook-Chez Geek.) the stories have come together to not only weave a monthly story line but delves into a entire season plot line.
Cap E and Mr. M - has been shelved for the meantime to get other projects going.
Help Files- We will be doing another volley of Help Files to cover "Podcasting" and how to do it. Look for Chris, Tim and Jon to bring you ideas and ways to get your started in podcasting or vidcasting.
CHez Geek - is going strong and seems to be one of our staples wth in the shows we make. With LEad of Stevan and JR bringing the comedic timing and abilites lends to a great show. Be careful the editor seems cranky and seems to have trouble with Stevan and JR.
Oh well check back for more infor and add a comment if you like our stuff.
Well the show doesn't really air until April of next year, but till then you can catch snippets and "viral videos of the newest show from MCP TV; High Maintenance.
Right now you can see these viral videos at several location. The best is Lulu.tv ( MCP LuLu). At Lulu you can see most of our short shows and the trailers for the longer shows. We have been posting there and so far have found it ok. If you encounter any troubles please email me and will try and see what I can do about it.
Another way you can get into the, High Maintenance "wave of craziness is to join Gil Buchanan's MySpace Page; Gil's MySpace Page.
As for other production notes:
"Between Floors" by Alli fro Hak.5, is going swimmingly. We had some trouble the last weekend with sicknesses sweeping the cast, but have finished with two out of the three secondaries for filming (except voice overs). The Elevator scenes have been going awesome. The first day was driven by Wess from hak.5 and the daily's come out pretty good. he second day of shooting was the one mired with sickness. But we continued and got a lot done under Steven and I's watchful eye. The best part was the elevator was actually finished this time so we got to play with some angles. You can check here for some of the pictures on my MoBlog.
1337 - Episode 9 - Well we re-shot some of the fight scenes, problem is it is sunny and no rain. I will try and find some post that will make it look the same. The second fight scene came out better. JR and Tom came out swinging and some of their antics made me squirm to watch. Overall I am happy with the progress and hope to have a episode out soon, or at least a trailer.
Most other Productions have been put on break until January. We will finish of the first season of Starbuskj during that time, add another Chez Geek and possibly get another Capt E and Mr. M in. till them keep watching our stuff and keep a smile on your face!
Well the weekend has been very busy.
First we are gearing up to release Episode 8 of our dramatic show called "1337". With a new episode comes new cast members. Raju Khludiph, who played Mike, had a new edition to his family and this has caused him to back out of the production. We have found an incredible young man to come in at the end of the seaon to take over one of the strongest charcters we have in this series. You will get to see Bassem Salam burst out of the gates, showing excellent skill is adapting.
Racine Russell is another addition to the cast. She has been an a godsend. Jumping into one of the most powerful roles within this series yet. Not only making sure she plays the new role, but she has taken on other roles on some of the other shows. Racine is a star that I think everyone will love to watch as she grows in the roles.
We spent most of today shooting. One project that is a special project for the Discovery Channel's contest. We are hoping to do our best and spoof one of their shows and get it on the network. We also finished production of the 4th episode of Chez Geek. This one is a good one. We cook Chicken Parmesean, Garlic Bread, and Peach Flavored Popcorn.
I know I have talked about the show I direct/write. Sometimes I forget that we have other shows. Actually I never forget, being the editor of all shows now I know them inside and out.
I do want to mention them so they get as much push as "1337".
Chez Geek is a collaboration between Steve Daljev, JR Foster, myself and Jon Smith. We wanted to make a cooking show from the begining. The problem was leet took a lot of our time and resources. Now we have more of these "resources", we have the ability to do more projects. Chez Geek is the geeks answer to cooking shows. It is part improv comedy, part cooking show and a little dash of behind the scenes humor. Plus it takes common pantry items and makes nice meals with them. BTW if any graphic artist would be willing to help us out and do graphics for this show it would be awesome!
Starbuskj is a project by Steve and JR. This is about two brothers from the Old World, bringing their trade to the New World. They open a coffee and rope shop to take the world by surprise. This is some funny and memorable stuff, very akin to old SNL skits.
Help Files was orginally called "Meet Joe Geek". With some modifications we have re-invented the show and are starting to release it weekly. The show covers the technology of our trade in an introductory fashion. We will cover basic RSS feeds, files extensions, How to subscribe, How to make an RSS, etc. Add a show case that is based of my IPTV Review Blog and some humor and that's our show.
Upcoming shows...
High Maintenance - will be a comedy set in a apartment complex. The basic concept is a group of guys working hard for a living and the funny, crazy things they do to amuse themselves. Add in some comedic romance tension and infantile humor of farts and drinking and, "poof" you have the show. Created by Trae Favaro (Alvin Foster in "1337").
Short Films - We are producing a short film called, "Between Floors" written by Ali from Hak.5. When I first read this script I was amazed at the combination of insight and strength of the vision with in the story. We hope this will be the beginning of several shorts to be done.
That's pretty much it... OH BTW I am jetting off to San Fran next week to be on Diggnation. My hopes are to bend ears and get our stuff seen by people... We will be attempting to make T-Shirts for Starbuskj to give out at the show... Wish me luck on getting that done...
