Is a total TOOL!
I am a fan of magic. I like to watch it. For the most part I can figure out what's happening and know the backside of the trick. Some of the newer tricks have left me stumped, but for me its not being amazed by the trick. It's the talent of the person doing the trick. If the person sucks me in and has me believing, even when I know the trick, then that person is a true magician. They create a new reality that causes me to believe something else.
I don't believe in mentalism, mind reading or any parapsychology ( and I study it for three years). What I like is someone that plays it out in a creative way to make a story of the trick.
So why is Criss a tool. Well on major television Criss outed another performer in his art. Whether the performer thinks he is a mentalist or a person that can channel the dead is not the question. I don't really care, let them live in their own world. As long as they don't mess with me or take money from me. Criss called him out and pushed him on national TV. What the f*? Criss are you such a purist that you feel it is your job to out those that might be something they are not. IF this guy lies about what he does, fine, again did he mess with you mojo, call you out?? Be the better person and let him do his trade and make his buck. Or maybe you don't like having anyone that might show you up?
Criss stop being a pretentious ass and keep your need to be the only one to yourself.
I really do not mind plugging or hyping a movie, but what the hell is this Bee Movie crap? Does Jerry Seinfeld really need to push his movie that bad? Is he broke and needs to make extra cash? I can only guess that this beating me over the head with the Bee Movie is supposed to make me want to watch it.
I also get trying to direct your marketing towards a certain market, but when you post you plug during an episode of The Office you might be missing your target audience. (I don't know to many Office watchers that would like to see a kids animation movie.) Maybe it was airing in the time slot of Seinfeld and they thought they might catch those few people that come looking for episodes of that old show. Or Maybe someone thought the movie needed a push. What any animation movie brings kids and family and makes money. Ok there have been a few exceptions, but this movie will make money. That is unless they paid Jerry to much and they have to make up for paying a washed up actor more money.

Over the past few days I have seen the emergence of some disrupting videos. All of the videos center around police "brutality. I have seen many of these and I have a fear that we are loosing sight of what is truly happening here. This vision is not of police miss-using their powers or citizens loosing there cool. It is about stereo-types and how we rose color the story.
Our media and those that follow it like lemmings to the cliff, have been brain washed to sensationalize these pocket incidents. Did police mistreat or over step their bound before this? Yes. Did citizens act like jackasses and put an officer in harms way? Yes.
As I watch the latest video, of the 15 year old girl being maced, I am torn. The officer was attempting to do his duty, arrests an under age girl who was caught driving. He warned her multiple times not to resist. Then I saw the over powering move of the officer and had to think was that too much? Did she deserve or warrant that? I know one thing and that is what I have done in the situation, and yes I have had my run ins with the law. I was scared and I was not always acting rational, but I never, and I mean never would have stuck and officer, bit them or tried to resist.
The other video that I have issue with is the young man video tapping the cops. This would be called entrapment if the police did it. Do not try and argue that the camera was in plain sight. That man clearly was not following the request from what started as a very reasonable request. What that man did was refuse the authority of the police, which is against the law. He stripped that officer of the duty that he was supposed to uphold. After that of course the officer lost his cool, but I am not sure I would;'t have been able to maintain when a smart ass act like that man did.
As an American I have many freedoms and rights. I have the right to practice any religion. I have the right to speak freely (but not to imping on the rights of fellow citizens). I have the right to start a business and have the government loan me money. Why would I go against my freedoms to break a rule that didn't need to be broken? Why would I defy the law when the law is working?
That man choose beforehand to video tape an officer, to push an officer to the limit and cause him to break. (which means this person set up a planned form of torture) The response from the officer and the consequent issues of stalking are not to be over looked. Those are wrong also, but for you to break a law and then call upon the law to uphold your side of it is absolutely ludicrous. It would be in the same fashion of murdering someone and saying they stole a cheese nip from me so I punished them.
We are becoming a people of "no blame", "Of course it's not my fault I got that ticket", "I didn't want to give them my license, even though I was speeding." , "that officer had no right to mace me, even though I refused to leave and struggled, and physically fought with him."
My God what have we come to. If people want to protest against acts such as these we should look at what started them. The office didn't walk in there and say "I feel like kicking ass tonight". He or she walked in there thinking, "Am I going to die tonight, who will take care of my family."
I am not saying all cops are good. I have had my share of idiot cops. But humans are falible, just as you do stupid things oth inyour personal life and career life, so do these men and women. They have to make choices that are split second and can mean life or death. I know at my job the hardest part of my job is not to curse out the customers that act stupid. Wow, that's a pretty easy thing to control. But when you life, your partners and the community relies on you to protect them, then you have a pretty big weight to carry. My guess is if you report that's due tomorrow, or your job called on you to make those types of decisions, you would might break and do something stupid.
